This ancient Medieval Castle, which the House of Malatesta fortified at the end of the 13th century, boasts a fascinating history protected by its ancient walls. Palazzo Marcosanti, as Tonino Guerra called "The Castle of the marriages", stands in Poggio Berni on a hill situated over one hundred meters above sea level, between the valleys of the Uso and Marecchia rivers. For this reason, it offers an excellent "coup d'oeil" ( quick glance), as they say, at 360°( the greater degree), that is to say the full extent of the view: from the fascinating outlines of San Marino, Vernocchio and San Leo to the deep blue of the Adriatic sea, along the so-called " Costa Romagnola", which you can admire on the stretch from Ravenna to Rimini.

The Poggio Berni Castle, which has been lovingly restored by the present owners, represents one of the most important tourist attractions of Rimini.
