In a suggestive glimpse of the Lombard countryside alongside the Naviglio canal: at the elegant 16th century structure, complete with chimney and ceiling beams, that has been transformed over the years into a celebrated restaurant of international fame.

Only the name of the place has purposely remained faithful to its origins, in memory of the Cassinetta patrimony well known at the beginning of the 20th century. The secret of success lies in the family run business carried out with a real passion for excellence at table and refined decor, the result of a devoted and attentive team.

The surrounding area with the canal, tree-lined square, small church, bridge and villa Castiglioni all make this part of the plains a truly magical place.

The restaurant's wine list has about 700 labels, for a total of 4800-5000 bottles chosen personally by the patron, Ezio Santin.

The vast enological choice is covered by 65% Italian wine, 30% French and the remaining 5% comes from the United States, Spain, Portugal and Australia. Connoisseurs can appreciate sublime vertical wine tasting sessions of many of the most precious Italian wines: Sassicaia, Solaia, Tignanello, Barbaresco and Barolo from the best producers.

Of the French labels the cellar is proud to have one of the best selections of Burgundy Wines and a large selection from Châteaux Bordeaux. The bottles are carefully stored in two spacious air conditioned cellars: a brick one with a sail ceiling in harmony with the building and a second cellar, added quite recently, to guarantee correct conservation of such an important patrimony.
